TEACHER: All right, good work. A favorite debates are the ones where I don’t even have to say a word and it just keeps moving along.

STUDENT: If it doesn’t matter that much, if you’re not finding anyone, then it’s all theory. And then it’s not worth it to get rid of your—

TEACHER: Just my final thoughts on the debate. The thing that a lotta people are concerned about is that we just don’t know. I mean, Will makes the point, there hasn’t been an attack of the same size of September 11th. So what people are concerned of is there could be all these secret wiretap and secret arrests going on that aren’t being publicized. And a lotta people think, Hey, the public has a right to know. People should be put on trial and people should be watchin’ those trials, to criticize them. ’Cause in our democracy, that’s part of it. It should— things should be out in public, not secret. And that is another issue that’s, you know, bothering a lotta people. Now, people on the opposite side would say, Hey, this is a new world; we’re fighting terrorists around the world. We do need to change the rules a bit, in order to make it happen. All right, we’re gonna move on now. Um, so next—
